Homeschool ASL Classes
Beginner Level- American Sign Language (ASL)
Tuesdays 1:00 - 2:00 PM
​This beginner level ASL class will have your kids signing in no time! This course teaches the alphabet, counting, seasonal signs, and many common signs and phrases. but students will learn how to effectively communicate using what they. Learning is reinforced through regular practice in class, as well as ASL games, music, and videos.

Advanced Level- American Sign Language (ASL)
Tuesdays 12:00 - 1:00 PM

The Advanced Level American Sign Language class builds on your Beginner Level skills. Along with reviewing and learning new vocabulary signs each week, students will also be introduced to some ASL history and Deaf culture, basic ASL sentence structures, and proper usage. We will work on increasing overall communication skills using ASL, including songs and signing paragraphs. Every week we will review and add new signs! Learning is reinforced through regular practice and ASL games. Our class will perform signed holiday songs at the end of the Fall semester and participate in another event at the end of the school year!

ASL Storytelling & Song Signing
Tuesdays 2:00 - 3:00 PM

ASL Storytelling and song signing is an art all its own! In this course you will learn to perform using American Sign Language. This class focuses on learning and using ASL for the purposes of storytelling and signing songs. Storytelling and signing songs uses more than formal ASL signs, it requires (PSE) Contact Signing, strong facial expressions, and bold, dramatic movements utilizing your whole body to engage your audience. While some ASL background may be helpful, it is not required for this ASL/PSE performance-based course. May be taken concurrently with either Sign Language class or on its own. Parents are welcome to sign up too and join in the fun! There will be an early-December Christmas performance.

iNSPIRE is a group of Christian homeschool families who want to share their educational journey with other like minded families for the main purpose of academic enrichment and fellowship that glorifies the Lord. They are a non-profit group that tries to keep the cost of classes as low as possible to enable more families to be able to participate.
